Sometimes it can be no fun being a reader, or a writer.
When we are young, reading is mostly homework. If we are a writer, the written word… in sentences, paragraphs, pages… is mostly work. It’s a job, a duty, a necessity, always open to criticism. But sometimes, certainly not always, writing can be a pleasure. When others recognize our effort, it can even be a reward.
Recently Chip received a giant boost from readers, editors and publishers.
On August 5, 2023, The Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA) awarded Chip Hunter a Presidential medal for his memoir “Stage Monkey.”
This is a huge honor and great encouragement for Chip’s writing work. His next release is scheduled for early 2024.
